-Update from the China Sports Governing Body on the state  of sports construction and development in China.
-Update from a delegation from Ukraine of 12 Ukrainian officials led by their Minister of Emergencies.
-ENR publication sponsored of a McGraw Hill conference entitled " Sports Facilities of the 21st Century” which brought together 40 of the sports industry’s leading experts to discuss the future of the sports industry.
-AIANY Center of Architecture event called “Saturday Night with the Deans” which included the Deans of 14 Architectural schools (i.e. Princeton, Yale, Cornell, Syracuse, CUNY, Columbia).
 
Participated in a series of risk management programs for various major leagues and NCAA conferences including a Patron Screening Analysis; security regulations and procedures study; pilot program at a major championship game on monitoring of social media to monitor threats pre-event, during the event and post event; pilot program for background checks for vendors and stadium workers; development of a database of violence among spectators and patrons of global sport events; development of sports security and risk management standards; a national survey on game day staff best practices and pilot program on evacuation procedures.
 
Member of the NYPD SHIELD, which is an umbrella program to coordinate the efforts of both public and private security activities. NYPD Shield seeks to partner with private sector security managers with the goal of protecting New York City from terrorist attacks, foreign and homegrown, based on providing best practices, lessons learned, counterterrorism training, and information sharing.
 
Served as a Subject Matter Expert for the National Risk Management Program for Spectator Sports & in the Sports Event Risk Management Participants Guide for a NACDA/DHS Grant.
 
Served on NASCAR B to B Council & sponsored NASCAR Security Championship Award.
 
Served as featured speaker at events including Tri-State Surveillance and Security Conference, NASCAR Security Summit, NCS4 Annual Conferenceand Street & Smith’s conference on Sports Sponsorships. Featured in Forbes Magazine, Bloomberg Television, IEG Sponsorship Report, NASCAR.com, KFAN Sports Radio and Speedway Illustrated. Written articles in publications including Security Magazine, Security Products Magazine, Government Security News, SP&T News and DHI Magazine.
 
Awarded the Ingersoll Rand’s Security Technologies Presidents Award for work on Operation Home Delivery a multi-faceted initiative launched by Habitat for Humanity International to help provide assistance and rebuilding opportunities in New Orleans following Hurricane Katrina.
