About

SESA for High Schools

School districts that have successfully completed the Risk Management for Interscholastic Athletics and After-School Activities Course are eligible and encouraged to seek the National Center for Spectator Sports Safety and Security’s (NCS4) Sport Event Security Aware designation (SESA). SESA is a security planning process designed to promote a standardized methodology for security planning at sporting venues and events throughout the United States. This planning process integrates the Safety and Security Best Practices Guide and defines a minimum threshold for security policies, procedures and operational plans.
